Countdown to Christmas Day 5 5 Golden Cookies
Basic Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 ½ C. All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
¼ Tsp Salt
1 C. Packed Brown Sugar
½ C. Sugar
1 C. Softened Butter
2 Large Eggs
1 ½ Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Butter Flavoring (Can substitute for almond, orange, peppermint, etc.)
1 Bag of Chocolate Chips (can substitute or add in coconut, caramel pieces, candy bar pieces, etc.)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line your baking sheets with Parchment paper. Mix wet and dry ingredients in two separate bowls, creaming together the wet ingredients before adding the dry. Do not over mix. Drop by tablespoonful onto Cookie sheets and bake for 18-20 minutes.
Chewy Gooey Coconut Cookies
½ C. Butter
2/3 C. Packed Brown Sugar
¼ C. Sugar
1 TBSP Honey
½ Tsp Vanilla
½ Tsp Almond Flavoring
1 Large Egg
1 1/3 C. All Purpose Flour
½ Tsp Baking Soda
¼ Tsp Salt
1 1/3 C Coconut
2 Tsp Hot Water
Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees. Line baking sheets with Parchment paper, add hot water to the coconut and set aside. Mix remaining dry ingredients together in one bowl and all wet ingredients together in another, then combine all ingredients and mix together including coconut and water. Don’t over mix. Spoon out into 1 inch scoops and place about 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes letting cool slightly before removing from parchment. Don’t over brown.
Spritz Cookies
1 C. Butter (Real)
2/3 C. Sugar
1 Large Egg
1 Tsp Vanilla (Butter flavored if you can)
1 Tsp Almond Flavoring
½ Tsp Salt
2 ¼ C. Flour
Mix all ingredients adding the flour last. Chill dough before adding it to your cookie maker. Squeeze cookies out in desired design on Parchment lined cookie trays. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 -8 minutes.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
2 ¼ C. All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
¼ Tsp Salt
1 C. Quick Oats
1 C. Packed Brown Sugar
½ C. Sugar
1 C. Softened Real Butter
1 TBSP Honey
2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Large Eggs
2 C. Raisins
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line your baking sheets with Parchment paper. Mix wet and dry ingredients in two separate bowls, creaming together the wet ingredients before adding the dry. Do not over mix. Drop by tablespoonful onto Cookie sheets and bake for 18-20 minutes.
Eggnog Cookies
2 ¼ C. All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
½ Tsp Ground Cinnamon
½ Tsp Ground Nutmeg
1 C. Sugar
¼ C. Packed Brown Sugar
¾ C. Softened Butter
½ C. Eggnog
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 Large Egg Yolks
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line your baking sheets with Parchment paper. Mix wet and dry ingredients in two separate bowls, creaming together the wet ingredients before adding the dry. Do not over mix. Drop by tablespoonful onto Cookie sheets and bake for 23-25 minutes.
